However , it truly is still not as significant while planned. The SSI sector should be prompted to make a eco friendly contribution for the national salary, employment, and exports. Keywords: Small scale sectors, policy, globalization, Jordan, competitiveness. Introduction The development of small-scale companies (SSI) continues to be one of the major cedar planks of Jordan's economic advancement strategy as Jordan's independence. The SSI sector occupies a place of strategic importance in the Jordanian economic framework due to its considerable contributions with regards to output, exports and employment. SSI play a key role in the industrialization and development of any nation. This is because SSI provides an quick large scale career, ensure a much more equitable syndication of nationwide income, and facilitate an effective mobilization of resources, capital, and abilities which might or else remain underutilized. It is possible to determine the concept of the SSI relative to two actions: the size of the labor force employed; and the volume of spent capital with this industry. Michael jordan has used the 1st concept to tell apart between the SSI and other sectors. An establishment is considered tiny if it employs not more than twelve workers, when industry making use of between 15-30 workers is known as a method scale sectors, and when having more than 31 workers the industry is regarded as large scale industry's category. Although some countries include adopted this kind of criterion, other, countries identified the higher ceiling of the volume of the labor in this industry to become 15 workers as it is in Korea and Ghana, while Egypt, Belgium and Denmark followed the requirements that the number of workers should not exceed 40 workers. In comparison, countries including France and Italy followed the criterion of 500 workers to distinguish between modest and other industrial sectors But in Asia and in the United States the whole number of workers working in small-scale industries was set for 300 in Japan and 1000 personnel in the United States(Subramanian 1995). Furthermore, the SSI are characterized by their degree of spread as show in stand (2), the SSI in Jordan comprise nearly 84% of the established industries during the period of 19901998 and increased to nearly 90% of the total industries proven during the period of 1999-2006 (Hachure 2004). Moreover, a large number of industries had been characterized as being environmentally friendly. The possibility of establishing these kinds of industries in various regions is favorable mainly because they do not need a special system, once these types of industries are very well established then this encouragement with their spread in the rural regions will help to obtain many of the cultural and financial goals, just like increasing salary in rural areas, manipulating the migration from rural areas to urban centers and managing demographic growth. Objectives of the study The main objective with this paper should be to highlight the value of SSI in the Jordanian economy while SSI occupies a place of strategic importance in the Jordanian economy due to their considerable advantages in terms of creation, sales and employment. These
advantages have surfaced despite of the very fact that this sector has been confronted with intensifying competition. Research Concerns This newspaper is also seeking to answer the following research...
