1 . Medulla: Regulates heartbeat & breathing Manages breathing and heart rate when we pay attention to driving
2 . Cerebellum: Affects memory and learning; Runs voluntary movements and equilibrium Coordinates left and right hand moves on the controls
3. Thalamus: Switchboard between sensory neurons and higher brain regions that deal with seeing, hearing, tasting and touching. Electrical relays visual and auditory tips to parts of the cerebrum
4. Hypothalamus: Regulates thirst, hunger, body's temperature and intimate behavior. Controls maintenance capabilities, i. e., eating; Related to emotion & reward centre. Makes us aware when we are too popular or freezing ( to adjust the heat controls), too hungry or perhaps thirsty, or in need of a restroom end
5. Amygdala: Emotion, such as aggression, rage and dread [and anxiety]. Might be active during road craze [i. e., anger generated by simply another drivers behaving carelessly. ]
6. Hippocampus: Memory. Understanding a course and learning what to do in signs and lights.
7. Anterior Lobe: Speaking, muscle moves; making plans common sense, Moves areas of the body; sends communications out to the body controls voluntary movement, Initiates driving activities; moves the right foot to the gas or brake throtle, initiates discussions with people or additional driver, Allows people to truly feel remorse or learn meaningful behavior to make oral decisions. Helps us in preparing our paths, if we detect a hazard or detour.
